About the role - We are seeking a QA / DevOps Engineer to build and maintain the CI/CD, test automation, and infrastructure that keep quality high across our embedded software. You will be a force multiplier for every engineering team, from firmware bring-up to production release. What you'll do - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded, firmware, and application software - Develop and maintain automated test frameworks (unit, integration, system, and hardware-in-the-loop) - Manage build, artifact, and release infrastructure across heterogeneous targets - Administer version control, code review, and branching workflows (Git / GitLab) - Provision and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure (AWS) and containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes) - Track quality metrics, coverage, and regressions; drive continuous improvement - Support hardware-in-the-loop and factory test automation - Champion QA best practices and release readiness across teams Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years in QA automation, DevOps, or software infrastructure - Strong scripting in Python and Bash - Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) - Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with test automation frameworks and code-coverage tooling - Version control and code-review workflow expertise (Git) Preferred Qualifications - Embedded/firmware test automation and HIL experience - Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) - Experience with RTOS/Linux embedded build systems - Observability tooling (logging, metrics, dashboards) - Robotics or safety-critical software background Benefits (subject to location and local regulations) - Competitive salary and equity - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage - 401(k) retirement plan - Flexible vacation and time-off policy - Collaborative, fast-paced, and inclusive work environment - Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies with a highly cross-functional team
