Whoever you are and whatever your role is, with Luminor, you will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a local banking champion As a Data Steward in the Regulatory Reporting area you will support data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance across a wide range of reporting needs — from local Baltic regulatory submissions to European frameworks such as EBA and ECB. You’ll collaborate with business, data, and IT stakeholders to resolve data quality issues, maintain the business glossary, implement effective data quality controls, and define end-to-end data lineage, while contributing to BCBS 239-related initiatives and the continuous development of Data Stewardship capabilities within the organization. How You Will Make an Impact: - Gather, structure, and analyze information on business data use cases and requirements to build a deep understanding of the data within your domain, including its sources, definitions, and relationships. - Develop and maintain end-to-end data quality activities, including initiating and performing data quality assessments, conducting root-cause analyses, coordinating data quality improvement initiatives, and establishing ongoing monitoring and reporting. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of logical data models within the defined data domain. - Develop, maintain, and continuously improve metadata within the defined data domain, including business data definitions, rules, data life-cycle requirements, and the data dictionary. - Implement data governance processes, standards, and procedures within your data domain. - Participate in data management initiatives aimed at improving data quality and usability across data-consuming processes. - Represent data management requirements in IT and business projects within your domain and help ensure compliance with relevant processes, standards, and procedures. - Support IT teams, Data Owners, and data users to enable seamless data integration and interoperability within your data domain. - Promote data governance principles and good practices across your data domain. What Makes You a Great Fit: - Educational background in Economics, Business Management, Finance, IT or any related field - Proven work experience as Data Steward, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, IT System Analyst or similar - At least 3 years’ professional experience in the area of data governance and data management - At least 1 year experience with banking or other finance industry, good knowledge of the Bank products, processes and IT systems - Very Good SQL knowledge, ability to work with large data sets to find quality issues, detect data structures etc. - Very good understanding of data warehousing and reporting concepts and ability to apply and use in practice data profiling techniques - Very good understanding of IT database structures/principles - Very good knowledge of MS Office and Project management tools (e.g., Atlassian JIRA, Confluence) - Ability to be a “bridge” between IT and business - Problem solver mindset and attention to detail-oriented personality in combination of possessing excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Initiative and high-level of responsibility - Experience in working with DWH, Tableau/PowerBI, Cloud Data Warehouse e.g. Snowflake, any ETL or Data Governance tool / solution will be considered as strong advantage - Data Management or Data Stewardship certification would be considered as an advantage e.g. DAMA - Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level What We Offer: - Gross salary. 2,750 - 4,130 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies - Flexibility.
