Heading is recruiting a Wireless Network Planning and Optimization Engineer, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique. Duties - Plan 2/3/4/5G wireless networks, conduct site survey and simulation analysis, provide planning solutions and suggestions on engineering parameters, and support the implementation of new deployment and expansion projects - Perform DT/CQT tests and single-site/cluster optimization, analyze network management KPIs, locate problems such as weak coverage, interference, abnormal handovers, and abnormal throughput, and optimize and rectify antennas and parameters - Carry out special optimization for Voice/VoLTE, CA, and DSS, handle user experience complaints, and cooperate with Umlaut third-party tests to resolve issues - Output optimization reports, communicate with operators, rollout team, and equipment vendors, and support the emergency event assurance Requisites - Bachelor’s Degree in communications, electronic information, or related fields, with associate degree or above - Experience in 4G/5G network planning and optimization is preferred - Excellent communication skills - Have a good command of LTE/NR air interface principles and network KPIs, and have a good command of technologies such as spectrum, CA, and DSS - Be able to use DT tools - Be able to independently complete survey, testing, and problem analysis, and be able to output reports and communicate with other departments - Be able to accept field work and business trips - Have at least 3 years of experience - Full availability to work - Fluent in English (spoken and written) Notes - Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted
