Responsibilities - Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility. - Review coverage, cost share, provider options, and restrictions. - Contact insurance companies and document benefit details. - Assist with prior authorizations and claims appeals when needed. - Complete accurate data entry and quality reviews. - Identify and escalate missing information or reimbursement issues. Requirements - High school diploma/GED required. - 2+ years of related experience or a 2-year degree. - Healthcare, insurance, medical billing, or customer service experience preferred. - Benefits verification experience strongly preferred. - Strong computer, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. - Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
